No license shall be granted for any such sale by auction if it appears that the applicant or any agent or affiliate or assignee of other person for him, has within the period of two (2) years prior to the application conducted a similar sale by auction, either in the same place of business or at any other place. Provided, however, that this Chapter shall not apply to a duly licensed auctioneer who has a regularly established place of business. (2-505; 1947 Code)
