§ 2-2E PAID LEAVE POLICIES.
   (a)   Incorporation of recitals. The foregoing recitals shall be and are hereby incorporated as findings of fact as if said recitals were fully set forth herein.
   (b)   Adoption of paid leave policies.
      (1)   Pursuant to § 15(p) of the Act, the village hereby adopts its current paid leave policies for all city/village/town employees as set forth in the employee handbook, any employment agreements to which the village is a party, and any collective bargaining agreements to which the village is a party and all other binding legislative actions governing paid leave amended from time to time. However, in no event shall the village, as an employer, provide less than eight hours of paid leave per year to any village employee.
      (2)   This section governs over and supersedes all provisions of the Act impacting the employment relationship between the village and its employees.
      (3)   This section, once adopted, shall apply to all employees of the village provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be deemed to affect the validity or change the terms of currently-existing collective bargaining agreements to which the village is a party.
