This chapter is not intended to repeal, abrogate, annul or in any way impair or interfere with any existing provision of law or ordinance or any rules, regulations or permits; provided, however, that where there is a conflict between any provision of this chapter and provisions of any other law or ordinance, the provision that imposes a greater restriction upon the use of buildings or premises shall control. Any structure, building, object or site established as a "Designated Landmark" under chapter 26A of the village code on or before March 21, 2013 shall remain a "Designated Landmark" but shall hereafter be construed as an "Honorary Landmark" for purposes of chapters 26A and 26B.
