§ 30-63 BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES ENCROACHING ON PUBLIC STREETS OR PROPERTY.
   It shall be unlawful to erect or maintain any building or structure which encroaches on any public street or property; except, that the board of trustees by resolution may authorize, after due notice and public hearing, any structure, deemed by the board of trustees to be an ornamental feature, to encroach upon or project over any public street or property a maximum of eight inches; provided, that such structure is a part of the remodeling of a building in place on April 20, 1953.
