The fee for permits required by this article to make any excavation or tunnel shall be not less than the amount set forth in the village’s Comprehensive Fee and Fine Schedule for excavation that does not exceed 60 square feet in area, plus an amount as set forth in the village’s Comprehensive Fee and Fine Schedule for each additional ten square feet or fraction thereof. The village manager may from time to time publish revised fee amounts for such permits to ensure that such permit fees are reflective of the costs to the village relating to such street openings.
