Each driveway permitted under this article shall be of such grade and of such width, not exceeding 16 feet at the lot line and sidewalk, and shall be constructed in accordance with driveway plans and specifications on file in the office of the director of public works at such location as the village manager in his or her discretion shall find proper after making the investigation in the light of the standards specified in the preceding section.
