§ 29-2 SAME - INVESTIGATION OF APPLICANT; INSPECTION OF VEHICLES.
   Upon the receipt of any application for a license required by § 29-1, the village manager shall make or cause to be made an investigation into the character of the applicant. No license shall be issued to any person who is not a person of good character, nor to any company whose officers are not persons of good character. The village manager shall inspect or cause to be inspected all vehicles intended to be used by the applicant, and shall not issue a license unless these vehicles comply with the provisions of this code and other ordinances of the village.
