The prohibitions of this chapter relating to the discharge of weapons or the carrying of the same concealed shall not apply to the officers or members of the police force of the village, nor to any officer of any court whose duty may be to serve warrants or to make arrests, nor to persons authorized under the statutes or the state of the United States to carry concealed weapons, nor to special police officers appointed as watchmen.
