§ 24-46 TRESPASS - PROHIBITED.
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for any person either:
      (1)   To knowingly and without lawful authority enter or remain within or on a building;
      (2)   To enter upon the land of another, after receiving, prior to such entry, notice from the owner or occupant that such entry is forbidden; or
      (3)   To remain upon the land of another, after receiving notice from the owner or occupant to depart.
   (b)   A person shall be deemed to have received notice from the owner or occupant within the meaning of this section if:
      (1)   He or she has been notified personally, either orally or in writing; or
      (2)   A printed or written notice forbidding such entry has been conspicuously posted or exhibited at the main entrance to such land or the forbidden part thereof.
   (c)   This section does not prohibit a person from entering a building or upon the land of another for emergency purposes or under other circumstances recognized under Illinois law as not constituting a trespass.
