§ 24-10 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY.
   No person shall injure, destroy, deface, render inoperative or assist in injuring, destroying, defacing or rendering inoperative any bridge, fence, building, sign, traffic signal, bulleting board, street light, fire alarm box, post office box, police box, hydrant, subway, pavement, curb, public tree or shrubbery or any equipment or other public or private property within the village, nor place any goods, boxes, work or any other material upon or against any of the foregoing, nor shall any person extinguish or cause to be extinguished, or light or cause to be lighted, any public lamp, light or street light unless duly authorized to do so.
