§ 23-96 IMPROPER PARKING GENERALLY; COIN TO BE DEPOSITED IN COIN BOX; PROPER PARKING PASS TO BE DISPLAYED.
   No vehicle parked in a parking zone shall be parked across any marking line designating a parking space or in any position other than entirely within the area designated by such marking lines. Failure to park entirely within such designated area shall be a violation of this article and shall subject the vehicle operator to the penalty prescribed by this article. When, during the times specified in § 23-98 of this article, any vehicle shall be parked in any parking zone requiring that a fee be deposited in a coin box, the operator of such vehicle shall, immediately upon parking in such zone, deposit or cause to be deposited in the coin box serving the parking space being occupied the appropriate amount necessary for complete payment of the specified fee. Failure to deposit the required payment for the parking space in the coin box shall constitute a violation of this article and shall subject the vehicle operator to the penalty prescribed by this article. When, during the times specified in § 23-98 of this article, any vehicle shall be parked in any parking zone requiring that a proper parking pass be displayed, the operator of such vehicle shall have a proper parking pass displayed upon the vehicle in the manner prescribed for the pass. Failure to display the proper parking pass shall constitute a violation of this article and shall subject the vehicle operator to the penalty prescribed by this article.
