§ 23-94 DEFINITIONS.
   Whenever in this article the following terms are used, they shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section.

   COIN BOX. A non-mechanical device located in a parking zone into which payment can be made for parking privileges.
   DAYTIME PARKING ZONE. A parking zone designated for parking in excess of 120 consecutive minutes and located on streets or property owned by the village or by the METRA/Union Pacific Railroad Companies and leased to the village.
   PARKING PASS. Any of various types of stickers, passes or similar devices officially issued by the village for a designated fee that authorizes a vehicle displaying such device to park in a daytime or standard parking zone during the time allowed by the pass and by this article.
   PARKING ZONE. A designated and marked section of a public street or other publicly owned or leased property within the marked boundaries of which a vehicle may be temporarily parked and allowed to remain.
   STANDARD PARKING ZONE. A parking zone in which a vehicle may be temporarily parked and allowed to remain for a time not to exceed 120 consecutive minutes.
   VEHICLE. Any device by which any person or property may be transported upon a highway, except those operated upon rails or tracks, or motivated by the power of horses or kindred animals.
