(a) Subject to approval of the board of trustees, the village manager is hereby empowered to designate certain streets or alleys or portions thereof along which vehicles shall travel only in one prescribed direction, and to designate certain intersections at which vehicles shall not make left-hand or right-hand or U-turns, as the case may be.
(B) The village manager shall cause the placement of proper signs along such streets, alleys and at such intersections indicating the direction of travel and the kinds of turns which are prohibited.
