The village manager is hereby authorized to establish, designate and set off with appropriate markings, signs or other devices, crosswalks, traffic lanes, parking lanes and spaces, bus stops, taxicab stands, passenger zones and loading zones, and other places established, designated or set off for the enforcement of this chapter, and the village manager shall determine the character and kind of such markings, signs or other devices.
