§ 23-17 AUDIBLE WARNING DEVICES.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a bicycle on any street, sidewalk or other public place which is not equipped with a warning device, in good working order and audible at a distance of not less than 25 feet when sounded; except, that no bicycle may be equipped with or make use of any gong, siren or mechanical whistle.
