(a) Whereas, transportation by the public safety ambulance from the scene of an emergency to a medical treatment facility shall be on a fee for service basis.
(b) Whereas, the village manager or his or her designee is hereby authorized to waive all or part of the public safety ambulance transportation fee upon presentation of evidence of unusual hardship or under special circumstances, left to his or her discretion.
