This article XIV is not intended to repeal, abrogate or impair any existing and more restrictive easements, covenants or deed restrictions. When this article XIV and other ordinances, easements, covenants or deed restrictions conflict or overlap, the more stringent applicable restrictions shall apply. This article XIV is intended to repeal the original ordinance adopted to meet the National Flood Insurance Program regulations, but is not intended to repeal the resolution passed by the village in order to establish initial eligibility for such program.
