§ 9-63 APPEAL FROM DECISION OF DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS.
If the director of public works refuses to issue a permit for moving a building on the grounds that the move would be detrimental to public safety and welfare or damaging to village property or private property, an appeal may be made from his or her decision to the village president and board of trustees, which may review the director of public works' decision. The decision then made by the village president and board of trustees will be final.
