§ 9-22 CONSTRUCTION OF FALLOUT SHELTERS.
   Buildings or sections of buildings designed and intended for use as shelters against radiation from radioactive fallout shall be designed and proportioned in accordance with standard structural practice to withstand all stresses to which they would be subject under normal conditions and shall either be certified as accepted by the United States government or shall comply with the applicable provisions of booklet, MP-15, entitled The Family Fallout Shelter and of Guide NP-10-2, entitled Guide for Architects and Engineers, with any amendment thereto and with any other bulletin, instruction, rule, regulation now or hereafter issued by the United States government in respect to such fallout shelters. The issuance of a building permit for a fallout shelter shall not be deemed to constitute any approval or warranty on the part of the village or any officer or employee thereof as to the effectiveness of such a shelter for its intended purpose.
