§ 2-143 SECRETARY; DUTIES; COMPENSATION.
   The public safety commission may employ a secretary or designate one of its own members to act as secretary. The duties of the secretary shall include those described in § 20 of Division 2.1 of Article 10 of the Illinois Municipal Code, Ill. Rev. Stat. ch. 24, § 10-2.1-20 or its successor statutory provisions. If the commission employs a secretary, the compensation of that secretary shall be fixed by the village manager with the approval of the board of trustees.
