The village president shall serve as chairperson, the village treasurer shall serve as treasurer and the village clerk shall serve as secretary of the playground commission; the playground commission shall appoint such other officers as the commission shall consider proper and necessary. Their terms of office shall be determined by the playground commission and the rules established by it. The officers shall have the usual powers and duties pertaining to their respective offices.
