The village attorney shall superintend and conduct all law business of the village, excepting local improvements or condemnation proceedings, or either prepare and draft ordinances and legal documents and render legal opinions when requested by the village president or board of trustees on all questions concerning the village interests; attend the meetings of the president and board of trustees when required; make reports from time to time and otherwise perform such other duties or special services within the county which the president and board of trustees may require.
