At any term of the county court of Cook County, after the return of the collector is make, the clerk may proceed to obtain judgments against the lands specified in said return and on which the taxes many remain unpaid, for the taxes and costs thereon, and sell the same under the order of said court, and in so doing he shall be governed by the laws of this state, prescribing the duties of county treasurer in like cases and be entitled to the same fees; and the county court of Cook county shall exercise the same jurisdiction; and the clerk of said court shall perform the same duties with like fees, as in other cases of judgment and sale of lands for delinquent taxes.
