§ 32. PROVIDING FOR PRISON, PUNISHMENT FOR VIOLATION OF ORDINANCES, ETC.
   To provide a prison or other secure place, in which any person arrested for violating any criminal law of this state, or any ordinance or provisions of this act, may be confined until he may be examined and tried, and to provide for the punishment of offenders against any ordinance or provision of this act by imprisonment not to exceed twenty days in such prison or other secure place and to defray the expenses of the same.
