Be it enacted by the people of the State of Illinois, represented in the general assembly. That the inhabitants of the Town of Glencoe in Cook County be and are hereby constituted a body politic and corporate by the name and style of "The Village of Glencoe" and by that name shall have perpetual succession and may have and use a common seal, and change and alter the same at pleasure.
