1330.12 PERMITS AND FEES.

   (a)   The following types of advertising devices are required to have a permit issued by the City Zoning Department. All other types of advertising devices not listed in this section are not required to have a permit, but are subject to the guidelines and regulations regarding their placement and use as outlined in this ordinance.

      (1)   Advertising devices for on-premises use.

         A.   Freestanding signs as outlined in Section 1330.06(b).  The permit fee required shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).

         B.   Portable signs as outlined in Section 1330.06(f).  The permit fee required shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00).  Signs as described in Section 1330.06(f)(3) are not required to have a permit.

      (2)   Advertising devices for off-premises use.

         A.   Billboards as outlined in Section 1330.07(b). The permit fee required shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).

         B.   Wall signs as outlined in Section 1330.07(c). The permit fee required shall be thirty-five dollars ($35.00).

   (b)   Exceptions. Any advertising device required to have a permit in this section that was not required prior to the adoption of this section shall be exempted from the permit requirement.  However, if said advertising device is relocated from its present placement, a permit shall be required.  (Ord. 7453-06.  Passee 4-24-06.)
