1454.04  SCRIPT NUMBERS.
   If script numbers are used, an additional set of block-type Arabic numerals shall appear in a conspicuous place.

1454.05  NUMBERS AT DRIVEWAY ENTRANCES AND ON MAILBOXES.
   In addition to the street address numbers near the front entrance door, every building unit located more than seventy-five feet from a street shall also display a set of clearly visible street address numbers near the driveway entrance to the building unit. Mailboxes shall be clearly numbered on both sides per Section 1454.03.

1454.06  DETERMINATION OF LOCATION BY POLICE AND FIRE CHIEFS.
   In the event of special circumstances due to the location of a building unit, entrance or driveway, the Police Chief or the Fire Chief shall determine where the street address numbers shall be displayed to facilitate ready location of the building unit.

1454.07  APPLICATION TO NEW CONSTRUCTION.
   On a newly constructed building, the numbers shall be on display as required in this chapter on completion of the building and prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit by the Zoning Commissioner.

1454.08  NUMBERING BY CITY; COSTS.
   If an owner fails to number or cause to be numbered any building fronting on any street in the City, as required by this chapter, the City shall cause the numbering to be done and the cost and expense thereof shall be assessed against the lot or land on which such number is placed. The same shall be collected in the same manner as other assessments. Such remedy shall be in addition to the penalty provided in Section 1454.99.

1454.99  PENALTY.
   Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
