(a) Before proceeding with the construction, alteration, repair, removal or demolition of any building or other structure, a permit shall be obtained from the Building Official.
(b) No Village permit shall be issued with respect to a building or structure subject to the Ohio Building Code until a State approved set of final plans and specifications and a copy of the State permit issued with respect thereto have been submitted to the Building Official and reviewed by the Architectural Board of Review in conjunction with its review of those aspects of the location and construction of such building or structure which are subject to this Building and Housing Code. All inspections of construction pursuant to the State approved plans and specifications shall be conducted by State authorized and approved inspectors. Architectural Board of Review approvals and the Village permit shall indicate that they are limited to those matters subject to these Codified Ordinances. The fee for such limited permit shall be one-half of the usual fee provided in Section 1315.10.
