PARK REGULATIONS
§ 96.01 USE BY ORGANIZED GROUPS OR CLUBS.
   Municipal parks are maintained and operated by the city primarily for the use of individuals, families, and small groups of recreation seekers and for picnickers who desire to avail themselves of the facilities offered by the city. No person, firm, or corporation shall hold, conduct, or attend any public meeting to be given by, under the auspices of, under the name of, or for the benefit of any organized group or club, unless there has first been obtained written permission from the Recreation Department to conduct or hold the affair.

§ 96.02 CLOSING TIME.
   (A)   No person shall be in the Towne Center Plaza, located at the southeast corner of the intersection of N. Fort Thomas Avenue and Lumley Avenue, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following day, unless they have first obtained written permission from the Recreation Department.
   (B)   No person shall be in the parks or on the park property between 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the following day, unless they have first obtained written permission from the Recreation Department. This section does not apply to parks identified in division (A) of § 96.02.

§ 96.03 ANIMALS IN PARKS.
   (A)   No animals shall be permitted within the improved picnic or play areas of the parks.
   (B)   No horses shall be permitted to be in the parks unless and until trails for that purpose have been provided.
   (C)   No person shall take any dog or other animal on or within the park property unless it is held by a leash, chain, or cord held by that person. No person shall permit any animal of any kind to run at large upon or within the park property, nor shall any animal be tied to any tree, plant, or shrub on the park property by any person.

§ 96.04 DRIVING ON PARK PROPERTY.
   (A)   No person shall drive or operate any motor vehicle or any other vehicle or conveyance upon any park property, except on the roadway provided for that purpose. No person shall drive any vehicle at a greater speed than is reasonable and prudent, having regard for the traffic and for the conditions and use of the roadway.
   (B)   No person shall drive any vehicle within the park property at a speed greater than 15 miles per hour.

§ 96.05 FIRES.
   No person shall make, set, cause, or use any fire within the park property or in close proximity to any park fence, gate, or other park structure, except in the grills and fireplaces provided within the park property for that purpose, unless they have first obtained written permission to do so from the Recreation Department and the Chief of the Fire Department.

§ 96.06 PERMIT REQUIRED FOR CERTAIN ACTIVITIES.
   (A)   Musical instruments shall not be operated within the parks nor shall any musical recital or concert be held on the premises unless written permission of the Recreation Department has first been obtained.
   (B)   No parades, drills, processions, or marches shall be held on park property without having first obtained written permission from the Recreation Department.
