§ 96.07 PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES.
   (A)   Except for advertising in conjunction with a city-sponsored event, as authorized in writing by the city administrative officer or his or her designee, no person or other legal entity shall display any commercial advertising sign, placard, flag, target, or banner within a city park.
   (B)   Races. Because of the danger to persons using the park, no races or speed contests shall be engaged in or conducted, in which animals, bicycles, motor vehicles, or other vehicles engage or compete on or within the park property.
   (C)   Destroying park property. It shall be unlawful for any person to take, carry away, disturb, molest, destroy, mar, deface, mutilate, mark, or damage any tree, shrubbery, or any other property within the parks.
   (D)   Littering. No person shall throw or deposit litter in any park within the city except in public receptacles and in such a manner that the litter will be prevented from being carried or deposited by the elements upon any part of the park or upon any street or other public place. Where public receptacles are not provided, all such litter shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence and properly disposed of elsewhere as provided herein.    (E)   Ball playing. No person shall throw or bat a hard ball or throw or drive a golf ball on the park property, except at those places that are set aside for that purpose by the Playground and Recreation Department.
   (F)   Selling in park. No person shall sell or expose for sale goods, property, or materials within the park property or on any property in the vicinity of the parks without the written permission of the Recreation Department.
   (G)   Alcoholic beverages. Except for (i) the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with a city-sponsored event, as authorized in writing by the city administrative officer or his or her designee, and (ii) the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages in conjunction with the rental of the Fort Thomas Community Center in accordance with the rental agreement executed by the parties, no person shall sell or consume any alcoholic beverage within a city park.
