§ 96.08 DOG PARK.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to utilize the dog park located in Highland Hills Park in a manner which violates the following rules:
      (1)   Any persons entering the dog park acknowledge the risks and possible dangers associated with dog parks, and assume the risk of injury to themselves and their dogs.
      (2)   The hours of operation of the dog park are sunrise to sunset.
      (3)   The dog park is for use of dogs and handlers only. No other animals are permitted in the dog park.
      (4)   Any dog utilizing the dog park shall display a current county dog license and current rabies tag.
      (5)   Any dog utilizing the dog park shall display an owner identification tag.
      (6)   Only dogs older than four months of age may enter the dog park.
      (7)   Only dogs current on all required vaccinations may enter the dog park.
      (8)   Only dogs, which have been spayed or neutered, may enter the dog park.
      (9)   Children under the age of 13 years may not enter the dog park unless accompanied by an adult.
      (10)   Dog owners or handlers must be inside the dog park, be within view of their dog(s), and have on their person a non-retractable leash not longer than six feet.
      (11)   Dogs outside of the dog park enclosure must comply with city leash laws.
      (12)   Choke, prong, pinch and spike collars are not permitted within the dog park.
      (13)   Dogs displaying aggressive behaviors are not permitted within the dog park.
      (14)   "Squeaky toys" are not permitted in the dog park.
      (15)   Dog owners or handlers shall pick-up, seal and remove their dog's waste.
      (16)   Food, long-lasting dog chews and glass containers are not permitted in the dog park.
      (17)   No person shall bring into or consume any food within the dog park.
      (18)   Dog owners or handlers shall fill any holes created by their dog(s).
   (B)   The dog park is closed when city personnel are conducting maintenance. No dog shall be permitted into the dog park when city personnel are conducting maintenance.
