§ 71.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   General. Any person who violates a provision of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided shall be subject to penalties as provided in § 70.99 of this code.
   (B)   Handicapped parking. Unauthorized use of those designated parking spaces or areas as in § 71.01 described and declared to be unlawful, shall be penalized as provided in Tex. Trans. Code, §§ 502.253, 681.001 - 681.007, and 681.009 - 681.011.

   (C)   Heavy vehicles in residential areas. Any person, business, or corporation violating any provision of § 71.02 of this code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined in any sum as set by City Council ordinance, and each violation shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.

   (D)   No parking; limited-time parking. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of Ch. 73 shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a fine as set by City Council ordinance for each offense, and each day that a violation occurs or continues constitutes a separate offense.
