1331.05 CERTIFICATION.
   The owner or his authorized agent shall certify to the Fire Prevention Bureau in writing annually from the day of installation that the units or systems are fully operational.

1331.06 ELECTRICAL PERMIT.
   No smoke detector or alternative system shall be directly connected (permanently wired) to the electrical system of the structure unless an electrical permit shall have first been obtained from the Division of Building.

1331.07 SUPPLEMENTAL STANDARDS.
   This chapter is intended to be used with and supplemented by the applicable provisions of the Fire Prevention Code of 1979; however, if there shall be any conflict between this chapter and the Fire Prevention Code, this chapter and any rules and regulations adopted pursuant thereto shall prevail. 1331.08 ENFORCEMENT.
   The Building Commissioner shall have concurrent jurisdiction with the Fire Chief to inspect the installation of any smoke and fire detectors required to be installed by this chapter. (Ord. 80-95. Passed 1-5-81.)
1331.99 PENALTY.
   Unless otherwise provided in this chapter, whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned for a term of not more than ten days or both for the first offense. For a second or subsequent offense, a violator shall be fined not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or be imprisoned for a term of thirty days or both, every day there after constituting a separate offense. Any contractor who is found in violation of this chapter may be subject to the revocation of the certified registration within the City for not more than one year.
