(A) Except as here and otherwise expressly provided, it shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any truck, bus, tractor, trailer or combination thereof as described in division (C) below to operate, park or let stand or permit the same to be operated, parked or let stand on any paved street or alley within the town. Such vehicles need not be carrying a load to be in violation of this section.
(B) (1) This section shall not apply to any truck, bus, tractor, trailer or any combination thereof as described in division (C) below which is being operated, parked or let stand for the express purpose of loading or unloading merchandise, property, goods or passengers.
(2) This section shall not apply to any vehicle on East Ninth Street within the town limits.
(3) This section shall not apply to any vehicle which is engaged in providing emergency services for public safety or welfare or providing for the maintenance and repair of public or private property.
(C) For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly requires a different meaning.
BUSES. Any motor vehicle equipped for carrying passengers for hire or transporting school children on its chassis and which is licensed or grossed for 32,000 pounds GVW or more.
TRACTOR. Any motor vehicle having motive power designed or used for pulling or drawing other motor vehicles, including trailers or semi-trailers and designed or used for pulling or drawing another vehicle while carrying a portion of its load, or both, and which is licensed or grossed for 32,000 pounds GVW or more either as a single unit or combination thereof.
TRAILER. Any vehicle without motive power designed or used for carrying property or persons wholly on its own structure and for being drawn by a tractor or other motor vehicle, and includes any such vehicle when formed by or operated as a combination of a tractor, trailer or semi- trailer and a vehicle of the dolly type, such as that commonly known as a “trailer dolly”, including home trailers.
TRUCKS. Any motor vehicle designed for carrying loads on its own chassis and which is licensed or grossed for 32,000 pounds GVW or more.

An operator of a vehicle approaching a yield sign is subject to the following provisions.
(A) The operator shall slow to a speed that is reasonable for existing conditions and, if required for safety, shall stop before entering the intersection.
(B) After slowing or stopping, the operator shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching another roadway close enough to constitute an immediate hazard during the time that the operator is moving across or within the intersection or junction of roadways.
(C) An operator of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to pedestrians within crosswalks at the intersection.
(D) If an operator of a vehicle, after having driven past a yield sign, is involved in a collision with another vehicle or junction of roadways or with a pedestrian in an adjacent crosswalk, the collision is considered prima facie evidence of the operator’s failure to yield right-of-way.

(A) Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this traffic code shall, unless the penalty provisions of division (B) below apply, upon conviction, be punishable as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.

(B) Any person who shall violate any speed limit within the town shall, upon conviction, be punished as follows:

(C) Any person found guilty of violating any provision of § 70.03 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine of not less than $15 or more than $50 or imprisoned in the county jail for not more than 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

(D) Any person who violates § 70.04 of this chapter by engaging in any act defined as exhibition driving may be assessed a fine of up to $500.

(F) Every person violating the provisions of § 70.06 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as follows:
(1) Upon a first offense by a fine of not more than $100;
(2) Upon a second offense by a fine of not more than $200; and
(3) Upon a third or subsequent offense by a fine of not more than $300.
