§ 73.01 RESPONSIBILITY OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
   The parent of any child and the guardian of any ward shall not authorize or knowingly permit that child or ward to violate any of the provisions of this chapter.

§ 73.02 APPLICATION OF REGULATIONS.
   (A)   These regulations applicable to bicycles and skateboards shall apply whenever a bicycle or skateboard is operated upon any highway or upon any path set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles and skateboards, subject to those exceptions stated herein.
   (B)   Every person riding a bicycle or skateboard upon a roadway shall be granted all of the rights and be subject to all of the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle by this traffic code, except as set forth in special regulations in this chapter, and except as to those provisions of this traffic code which, by their nature, can have no application.

§ 73.03 PARKING.
   No person shall park a bicycle or skateboard upon a street other than upon the roadway against the curb, at the curb in such a manner as to afford the least obstruction to pedestrian traffic, or in a bicycle or skateboard rack provided to support the bicycle or skateboard. No bicycle or skateboard shall be parked upon the sidewalk against a building, laid down upon the sidewalk, or parked against or secured to any fire hydrant.

§ 73.04 RIDING ON SIDEWALKS.
   (A)   No person shall ride a bicycle or skateboard upon a sidewalk within a business district.
   (B)   Whenever any person is riding a bicycle or skateboard upon a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian. (Ord. 1981-6, passed 6-9-81; Am. Ord. 1991-7, passed 7-22-91)   Penalty, see §73.99
