There are hereby established within the Division of Inspections the following positions. The positions as specified in this section are not to be involved in any field building inspection. These positions are of a clerical nature and not under civil service.
(a) Inspector III, who shall not be under civil service (unclassified) and shall have a general knowledge of the building trades but need not be certified by the State. He shall perform the duties of counter clerk within the Division and shall perform such further duties as directed by the Chief Building Official.
(b) Inspector III, who shall not be under civil service (unclassified) and need not be certified by the State. He shall handle zoning matters and miscellaneous complaints received by the Division in addition to such other duties as may be directed by the Chief.
