(a) Whoever violates any provisions of this chapter for which no other penalty is provided, or any rule or regulation promulgated thereunder, or fails to comply therewith or with any written notice, or order issued thereunder, or whoever interferes with, obstructs or hinders the Chief Building Official or his authorized representative while attempting to make exterior inspections, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree as defined by the Ohio Revised Code. Each day such violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense.

(b) Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter or any requirement or regulation thereunder is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Each such violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense. Any subsequent conviction shall be punished as a misdemeanor of the first degree. (Ord. 2016-035. Passed 6-28-16.)
