1359.04 PERMIT REQUIRED: PLANS; FEES.
   (a)   No residential pool shall be installed, constructed, or used without the owner of the property upon which such pool is to be constructed or installed first obtaining the required permit(s) from the Chief Building Official. Written authorization from the property owner shall be required where the owner's agent or tenant obtains the permit.
   (b)   With the permit application, the owner shall furnish plans and specifications for the pool; professional grade and drainage site plans shall be required where modifications in grade of 3 inches or more occurs at any location on the property.
   (c)   The fee for the permit shall be as provided in Section 1301.01 for a residential swimming pool.
   (d)   A separate building permit shall be required for the installation of a deck, electrical permit for the pump, heater, motor or lighting; plumbing permit for drainage, water lines, gas piping, and gas heaters; fence, or any other work pertaining to the swimming pool.
   (e)   Engineering approval shall be required for any modification in grade of 3 inches or more. Fee and deposits shall be as provided in Section 1301.01.
