The Chief Building Official shall issue a renewal certificate of registration to any contractor who has been issued an original certificate of registration; has updated his original application by making any changes that have occurred in the information contained on his original application; offers evidence of continuing liability insurance coverage in the same amounts and forms as is required for issuance of an original certificate of registration; has tendered payment the renewal certificate of registration fee in the amount set forth in Section 1309.05; and, where the contractor's record of work in the City does not show repeated violations of the Building Code of the City, this to be determined by the Chief Building Official.
