(a) Whoever occupies a building or structure which is newly built or has been altered because of fire or other cause, without first obtaining a certificate of occupancy, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Each day of such unlawful occupation shall constitute a separate offense.
(b) Whoever constructs, installs, builds, alters or repairs a building or appurtenance thereto, without first obtaining a permit when a permit is required, is guilty of misdemeanor of the third degree. Each day of such violation shall constitute a separate offense.
(c) In lieu of a prosecution under subsection (b) hereof, the contractor shall, when requested by the Building Administrator or Chief Building Official, take out the required permit and pay a penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00), together with a permit fee which shall be tripled.
(d) Whoever occupies a building or structure, or makes use of land, without first obtaining a conditional use permit, when such permit is required, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day or part thereof during which such occupation or use continues.
(e) Any owner or occupant of land who fails to maintain the finished lot or parcel of land grades and drainage plan required to be established under Section 1301.13, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree. Each day's failure to maintain the grade shall constitute a separate offense.
(f) Any contractor who starts any work who fails to be registered as a contractor within the City shall, when requested by the Building Administrator or Chief Building Official, become registered and pay a penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Each day’s failure to becoming registered as a contractor shall constitute a separate offense.
