All work is to be let uncovered until the job is completed and inspected. If for any reason the inspection appointment cannot be kept by either party, the contractor will then make sure that the excavation hole is safe and secure. In any emergency excavations after working hours or Saturday or Sunday, the excavation hole will be left open, safe and secure by the contractor until the inspection is completed. (Ord. 2009-029.
