A. Special parking places are hereby set aside as special parking places for disabled persons and shall be designated as special parking places only for parking motor vehicles displaying a special identification device issued by an official state or federal agency.
B. Angular parking places designated for disabled person parking shall have a parking place width of at least eight feet (8') with an additional adjacent access aisle of a minimum five feet (5') in width to provide for access to and from the parking space by disabled persons who are confined to wheelchairs or need the use of walkers or crutches for mobility. Where such angular parking spaces are designated "van accessible", the width of the angular parking place shall be at least eight feet (8') with an additional adjacent access aisle of a minimum eight feet (8') in width.
