A. It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this division for any person to cause, allow, permit, or suffer any motor vehicle registered in such person's name or operated or controlled by such person to be upon any street within a parking meter space adjacent to a parking meter while such meter is displaying a signal indicating that the motor vehicle occupying such parking space has been parked beyond the period prescribed for such parking spaces.
B. Such parking meter shall be operated to show legal parking in such parking meter zones between the hours of eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) P.M., Monday through Saturday of each week.
C. The provisions of this division shall not apply on "holidays", as defined in section 9-1-321.1 of this title. (Ord. 44-08, 6-16-2008)
