Parking meters installed in municipally owned parking lots shall be installed immediately adjacent to the individual parking spaces described in section 9-14-321.646 of this chapter and each parking meter shall be so constructed and adjusted as to show, when properly operated, a signal that the space adjacent to which it is installed is or is not legally in use. Each parking meter installed shall indicate the duration of the period of legal parking and on the expiration of such period shall indicate illegal or overtime parking. (Ord. 44-08, 6-16-2008)
