No truck, bus, van, or vehicle used for the carrying of freight or merchandise shall be parked or permitted to stand in front of the residence property of others so as to interfere with free accessibility thereto for a longer period than is reasonably necessary. The intent of this section is to prohibit the parking or placing of such vehicles in front of residence property to the inconvenience of abutting residences unless the parking or placing of such vehicle is reasonably necessary when taken in connection with the purpose for which such vehicles are used or needed.
