8-4-8: PROVISIONAL REMEDIES:
If, any time after the filing of a complaint, it shall appear to the commission that there is reason to believe that the party charged has violated this chapter and there is reason to believe that the person charged is about to commit acts which would make impossible compliance with an order of the commission to alleviate the grievance, or it appears that a complainant may suffer irreparable injury as a result of alleged violation, the commission's attorney may seek a temporary injunction restraining the party charged from doing these acts pending completion of the proceedings under this chapter. A temporary injunction may be issued only after the respondent has been notified and afforded the opportunity to be heard, except that an ex parte temporary injunction may be issued when the complainant alleges housing discrimination.
