3-1-10: EXEMPTIONS:
There shall be no license required for persons, firms, or corporations selling personal property at wholesale to retail merchants, nor for resident merchants or their employees in taking orders at the homes of their customers, nor for such resident merchants and their employees in delivering goods ordered by their customers. Likewise, there shall be required no license for persons selling newspapers from house to house, nor for any person, firm or corporation selling and delivering commodities from house to house where said person, firm or corporation has an established home or place of business within the limits of the city. Likewise, it shall not be necessary for any farmer or truck gardener to procure a license in order to sell, from house to house in the city, products raised by him from lands owned, cultivated or controlled by him.
