This title may be amended by the affirmative vote of a majority of the full membership of the city commission at a public hearing, notice to the public of which appeared at least fifteen (15) days prior thereto in a newspaper of general circulation within the county.
A. Proposed Amendment; Costs: Amendments may be proposed in writing by the planning commission or any interested party. Costs of public hearings and publication of notice shall be deposited by any nongovernmental person proposing an amendment.
B. Legal Approval: Prior to its consideration by the city commission, a proposed amendment shall be approved as to legality by counsel for the city commission. (Ord. 130, 11-1-1977)
