A. Membership; Compensation:
1. There is hereby established a board of adjustment of the city with the powers and duties hereinafter set forth.
2. The board of adjustment shall consist of five (5) members who shall be the same as the board of commissioners.
3. Each member shall serve without pay for a term of two (2) years which shall be the same as their term of office as a member of the board of commissioners. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as a vacancy on the board of commissioners.
4. Attendance requirements at all meetings of the board of adjustment shall be the same as that of a city commissioner as all actions of the board of adjustment shall be listed as a regular or special meeting of the board of commissioners. (Ord. 287, 4-11-2011)
B. Officers; Rules: The board shall organize, elect its chairman, vice chairman, and secretary, and adopt rules necessary to the conduct of its affairs. (Ord. 165, 12-6-1983)
