9-3-7: RULES AND REGULATIONS:
   A.   Inspection Of Work:
      1.   The electrical inspector shall inspect all wiring and apparatus covered by any application within forty eight (48) hours after having been notified that the work is ready for inspection (Sundays and holidays excluded).
      2.   The electrical inspector shall, after making an inspection, report to the electrical contractor to whom the permit was issued, informing him of all defects, if any, and requiring him to correct the same.
   B.   Restrictions On Licensee:
      1.   A licensed wireman will not be permitted to install any new wiring for lighting, heating or power, or make any extensions to existing wiring systems unless he is working under the supervision of a licensed contractor. A licensed wireman may make simple repairs to existing wiring systems, or he may work as a maintenance electrician without being under the supervision of a licensed contractor.
      2.   A licensed wireman who is not working under the supervision of a licensed contractor shall be required to report to the electrical inspector on each change in any wiring which he might do, and to notify the inspector, of any and all repairs made by him. (1980 Code § 4-45; amd. 2002 Code)
